He was a coach for the Piston's a few years ago.  He coached Isiah Thomas, Dennis Rodman and a bunch of others.

He died of pancreatic cancer a few days ago. :(

I didn't know who he was. I was thinkin' of the ex Nascar racer that killed himself. Patrick Swayze is nearing the end of his battle with pancreatic cancer.  :'( I love him.  :'( Farrah Fawcett is in pretty bad shape too. Cancer is soooo prevalent today.  :-\

On a happier note.... today is my 19th wedding anniversary!!! Hubby and I have actually made it 19 years!!! Wooohoooo!!!  :sofa: :sofa: :sofa: Next year the big 2-0... I want to have a party, or go somewhere special. I would love to take a cruise on the Pacific Princess. I loooooved the show 'Love Boat' when I was young, and always thought it would be cool to...   :music1: set my course for adventure my mind on a new romance. :music1:

Hopefully with Hubby and I on it.  :sailor: :island:

Happy anniversary Dexter.  Maybe a cruise to the Bahama's next year....the food on those ships is fantastic and the shows are also.   People are treated like royalty on those cruises.... :yes:

No those %*(*&^)(*&^ seeds...we call them helicopter.  We, so far, have filled our big shop vac 10 times and there are still more to get up and a few more on the trees.  Not to mention the ones in the gutters..... :rant: :mad:
It's easier to use the shop vac for the patio and sidewalk than to sweep and pick up especially when they're wet. I put the crevice tool on and clean them out of the flower beds that way.

As it turns out I hadn't forgotten anything yesterday and all went well and the party didn't break up until 2:30 this morning.  Needless to say I'm spending the day recuperating......Well, we did get the stuff all put up and the kitchen straightened up.... :smile:
