The one that did it for me was New Yankee Workshop. One of my all time favorites.

And where is Dirty Jobs? I like that show too.

There are two on each list I like to watch, (Modern Family, Project Runway, The Middle and NCIS). I guess that puts me "in the middle".  :)

Out of that whole mess the only one we watch is Pawn Stars and only watch that occasionally.  We usually are watching a music video, a movie, or don't even have the TV on.

  But, I like more shows from the Republican side than the Democratic side.  But, I know why "ME" likes the Pawn Stars is because the stupid come in to a pawn shop with valuable things and the the Stars cheat them out of it for nothing.

They aren't in the business for their health ya know.  If you owned a pawn shop would you give people exactly what you could resell it for?  Hell no you wouldn't 'cause you'd want to make a profit so you could pay yourself and your overhead like help, utilities, and rent or building payment.  Now since you're a union man you'd have to pay your employees union wages which means you'd have to give the people less than 1/3rd value for whatever they pawned. You'd really be a rip off joint.  :razz:

He's actually correct.  I co-owned a gold and silver shop in the 80's and we preyed on people's ignorance.

If there were no demand for that type of business there wouldn't be any.  Yes, they may be taking advantage of people but they are also giving the people a service who don't have the connections to sell their items for what they're worth.  Hell, you get the same thing in a music store or anyplace else that deals in used merchandise not just pawn shops although they may be a little worse since that is their business.  You two sure seem to have a problem with people making money don't ya?  Well, anyone but yourselves that is.
