Aw, they're trying to make it difficult for the people who work on the NYSE to get to their jobs so they'll have to rely on their taxpayer-bailout-funded multi-million dollar bonuses to feed their families.  You should send those poor people some tampons.

So, if the two or three of you are such astute thinkers with all of the answers, why is the town you live in so fucked up?  Rather than waste your time criticizing others who are trying to make a change, why not get off of your asses and clean up your own back yard?

    So they disrupt the businesses
where people are trying to go to work to support their families.  Now that's real smart.  Who does that hurt the worst?

Google it, there are lots of articles from a lot of different places with stories of business who have lost money and customers because of them. There is even an article in today's newspaper.

Can you provide anything to support anyone not having been able to get to work because of OWS?

Since when do stockbrokers get multimillion dollar bonuses?  Ultimately this will end up hurting the little guy worse than it will hurt any corporation because if they shut down where is anyone going to work?

I'd still like to know where these people, who are supposed to be out of work and destitute, are getting the money to stay away from home and do all this protesting.   Who's paying for their fancy cell phones you can see them using in some of the videos?

You're clueless.

Already been answered.

I see you're conveniently dodging the question about why you aren't active in your own back yard...typical.

Stockbrokers are not CEO's and those are the people getting the big bucks.  A stockbroker may work for a brokerage firm that pays their CEO big bucks so shouldn't they be at the brokerage firm or the business rather than the stock exchange?  Why hurt the stock holders and smaller businesses who are not ones who give their CEO's big bucks?

As far as answering my question about how these people are managing without any means of support, no, that hasn't been answered.  If they are jobless where is their money coming from?  Welfare checks?  Unemployment?  SEIU?

In what way do you mean active in my own back yard?  I shop local and patronize small businesses here in town.

You might want to check and see who all got bonuses in the wake of the meltdown and how much those were.

You're confusing your own income stream with theirs.  70% of the OWS protestors are employed and protesting suring their time off.

What do you do to improve the quality of life for everyone in Anderson?  Oh, that's right, you only care about your friends and relatives so everyone else can just suck it!  You sure do pretend to have the solutions to all of the world's problems but can't raise a finger to solve any of the many plaguing the rathole you live in.

Show me where regular stockbrokers who work the floor got huge bonuses.

Guess a lot of those NY protesters have lots of vacation time coming then to camp out this long.

Well, for starters I contribute to the food banks, help with and attend as many benefits as possible, especially cancer benefits, donate to the Christian Center and Operation Love, and do what ever else I can to help people who are down. How's that for starters?

There are 168 hours in a week, 40 of which are typically work hours.

Not believable.

And if they are out protesting they aren't working.  They're living in tents and staying there remember. Well, they were 'til they got ran off so now they're sleeping where ever they can.

Not believable.
Don't matter whether you believe it or not 'cause you don't matter.

Hypocritical much?
Yep ya sure are.

Actually, I'm looking for the link now, but a Wall Street Journal survey found that 85% of them were employed.  One would think that the Wall Street Journal would know what's going on with the OWS protesters since they're protesting Wall Street.

Found one ....

"The vast majority of demonstrators are actually employed, and the proportion of protesters unemployed (15%) is within single digits of the national unemployment rate (9.1%). "

Reads to me like they aren't the kind of people I'd want to endorse if I were POTUS. But my question still remains. Who is paying the way for the ones that are continually protesting and staying in those tents or where ever they are holing up now?
