Has anyone seen the flag around town that looks at first like an American flag. It has the dark blue field with white stars but the stripes are the same dark blue alternating with white ones. The middle stripe, which should be white is light blue. I first saw it on a vehicle and there is on on a house between 32nd and 38th streets on the west side of Columbus Ave. Anyone know anything about it?

Sounds like a variation of a thin blue line flag that is meant to show solidarity with law enforcement.  Most of these I've seen have a black field with stars and the stripes are also black with the exception of the center one which is blue.

Arguing with Christians is like playing chess with a pigeon.  No matter how good I am at chess, the pigeon is just going to knock over the pieces, shit on the board and strut around like it's victorious.

The truth is slow, but relentless. Over time it becomes irresistible.

Boy O'Boy, just what we need is a fucking cop flag.  :puke:  :puke:             Now this is one flag I will burn.  :trustme:

This begs the following question:

Why were completed absentee ballots being held in a Republican Party affiliated office to begin with?

Normally, completed absentee ballots are sent directly to the supervisor of elections office (at least they are in Florida).

That's it, I thought it probably had something to do with police or law enforcement. Thanks.

I'm a little confused.  I'm relatively new here, been around for over a year.  But it says you're a newbie under your profile pic.  Did you post under a different name back then?

Did you have a good cry?  Hope you're feeling better.

Just saw what you wrote. Thanks again to both of you. I could write a book (if I had time). Just plain too 'tard' right now. (My son once said, "Mom, when you git tard you lapse into hillbilly." )

Glad you are doing better. We all need a good cry every now and then.

 Now I need to git me to bed and get some sleep, because tomorrow there's the third debate.
