Congratulations Hank on post number 20,000.  ;D

Granted most of your posts contain narrow-minded Republican talking points, but it's still quite a milestone.

Mount St Helens may be awakening once again.

A friend out that way reports that USGS stations are detecting swarms of EQ's deep beneath that bitch. . .  :spooked:

On another note; After all of this rain we've had, my grass was so high it was resembling amber waves of grain as I was mowing it in the evening sunlight. . .

Hum, sounds like it may be time for my nephew to either move to Canada where his wife is from or move back here.

That fire in Canada isn't too far from where my aunt and uncle used to live. They're gone now but am glad my cousin's moved to Cal when they did a few years back. Of course there are the wildfires there but so far they've been lucky where they live a little south of Los Angles.

"Although there are no signs of an imminent eruption, the volcano is recharging, scientists say."

The Pacific Northwest is absolutely beautiful, but it's beautiful for a reason.   That reason is seismic activity.

Also remember:

"Eighty miles farther out, ten thousand feet below the surface of the sea, the hand of a geological clock is somewhere in its slow sweep."

There's a one in ten chance that the hand will strike midnight sometime in the next 50 years.  When it does, you really want to be somewhere else.

Yep, supposedly we had a 3.5 earthquake the other night. I didn't feel a thing.
