All we had was rain last night, no ice, thank goodness. I am not a fan of ice. We are going to put the cold weather behind us in a few weeks by going south to visit our son and his family for awhile. Maybe we will go to Harry Potter World.  :)

We went to Dancing Like the Stars at the Paramount Saturday night. It was a fun evening with friends and the entertainment wasn't bad either. The theatre was full. at least downstairs where we sat. Some of the dancers were pretty good, some not so much,but still fun to watch.

So I'm at work and one of my coworkers is using her earbuds to listen to music on her iPod. She's belting out whatever she's been listening to. It sounds like a cross between a cat getting it's tail run over and a buzzard smacking face first into the side of a moving tractor trailer. :spooked:

Finally, thanks to Amazon, found a couple of books I'd been trying to find for years.  One is by Robert A. Hienlein, And He Built A Crooked House which is a short story, and the other is Ice by Arnold Fenderbush.  I had checked them out at the library and read them but when I went back to get them to read again found they had gotten rid of them and hadn't been able to up to this point.  The movie The Day After may be loosely based on Ice from what I read in the reviews.  You might want to check these out if you like SF.

May not be getting the Hienlein book after all.  The ones Amazon has are collectables and the one I want it $56 for a used paperback.   :spooked:  I'm sure if I dig around some more I can find it cheaper though.  I hope so at any rate.

Did you check Google Books? It won't be the book, but Google has some set books and classics in their entirety.
