Christmas is just a few low-key hours with people you sort of know, and sort of get along with, who aren't necessarily your friends, and then there's pie.

As to the first part of your statement --

     I used to do that (what you said contains more truth than most people will admit) until I had a heart attack and 6 bypasses ~20 years ago. Since then my wife and I spend time with people that we really enjoy being with. Christmas is one of those times.

As to the "pie" part of your statement --

and THAT is honestly what I think of you guys........just WHY can you NOT see just how WRONG the dems are being on this.  RAISING taxes is NOT going to fix anything.......Do you honestly beleive it will?  How is it that alowing obama  NOT to have a budget to work with is NOT a good thing?  How is it you think that SPENDING is NOT the problem?

Seriously?  This nation is split down the middle on so many of these issues.....both sides are passionate with their stances on many issues.  I know you guys are not stupid.  But, I sincerely beleive raising taxes, even on the rich is not going to help.  But, many republicans ARE willing to allow taxes raised on the WEALTHY, the same proposal Nancy Pelosi offered a year ago.........NOW, it is not even negotiatable by the WH.

I have told you plenty of times.....and you ignore it.  You have tunnel vision.  You see what you want........and some how turn every thing that is bad on the republicans........which is why we are in the shape we are in today.  Despite what you guys think.

The Bush Tax cuts worked....it was/is the out of control spending, by both parties, that contributed to the cause........and I will say it again............the Fannie and Freddie melt down WAS derived by democrat policies.  THAT is/was the major contributer.......

now, that is just the way it was/is......
