You really think if "anything goes" in regard to some of the things listed that this would be a better world. There would be less drug use and the consequences of it's use, less abuse, fewer unwanted pregnancies?

But where do you draw the line?  Murder, spousal abuse, stealing, underage drinking, child sex porn?  It just isn't that simple PH.

It is implied in the post. Yes, if you don't like something don't do it, but if you don't have some restraints on activities such as drugs and porn it will permeate everyone's lives.

Just because I am curious, do you all allow people to smoke in your home? My husband used to smoke but hasn't for about 35 years. All of our friends who used to smoke have quit also and we only have one niece who still smokes so it is not an issue with us. We never asked anyone not to smoke in our house until my husband was diagnosed with COPD. Since then if they ask, I tell them I would rather they went outside.

My well-educated grandmother...a teacher who got her Masters degree at Butler in the 30's when, well, women just didn't do that...was very open-minded.  The world will be a much better place when these uneducated, ill-informed old people die off and can no longer vote.

You're gonna be one of those someday fool, or that's how the younger generation will look at it.  No matter how educated you are someone younger will always think they know more than you simply because things change.
