First of all, most Americans are inclined to believe that the recent spate of police officers shot in the last week are the result of either criminals gone wild, or a symptom that supports the gun grabber position that America needs to be disarmed.

Most of us are well aware of the existence of "quotas" surrounding the issuing of traffic violations. The video that follows brings to light that it isn't just traffic violations anymore in one American town, and I am sure this is a lot more wide spread than any of us cares to admit.

Are municipalities across this country doing the same, in direct violation of the Constitution?

If you think it's bad now, it going to get worse.  Every day our stupid lawmakers make new laws (unneeded) to increase police arresting powers.  Next time you're in a crowd of people and your just talking, ask the question, what do you think of the present cops?  I have ask this question several times.  You can't believe who and how many people despise cops.  The new burr cut, bald paramilitary cops.  Also ask how many people in that crowd of people who have had personal run in with smart ass, bully cops, practically everybody.  Have you?

I can remember how the cops were back when I was a teenager.  You never had a problem with them unless you really hard to cause trouble.  But now they make problems, they beat you up, tear up your property up, they make a lot of unlawful arrests and then kill a large group of people every year and and get away with murder.  It's their and their buddies word against their dead victim.

Here's something, try to find how many people cop kill each year.  You can't.  They claim they don't keep record of the killings.  Sure they don't, my ass.

The meaner and brutal they get the more of them are going to be killed.  You can shove and beat people so many times before they fight back.  I know of nothing that can be done about it because the lawyers and the judges are in on it too.

Our judicial system is really sick and corrupt.

Never had a negative run-in with a police officer in a one-on-one situation.

In fact, all have been very helpful when asked for assistance.

Most of my friends and colleagues say the same thing.

My brother was a police officer. Died in the line of duty. I will never say anything negative about police officers, firefighters, teachers, or nurses.

What I posted here I believe is a symptom of the shrinking revenue stream most municipalities are encountering.
As a result, this increases pressure from the various administrations to look for new ways to generate revenue, and increases expectations from traditional sources for revenue to generate more.

Police forces are most likely being pressured to step up enforcement of laws that, when violations are found, generate revenue.

My example is but one red flag that this is taking place. I suspect there are more. . .

I understand your point. And I agree with most of it. But as you said "Police forces are most likely being pressured"

Yes, and I expect that more and more of them will eventually reach the threshold of morality that forces them to do as the officer in question did. . .

I glad you haven't and won't have a run in with a smart mouth and bully cop.  Well the three cops I have dealings with and I got unfair tickets, they were just collecting money.  They even made it easy for me, they gave me a self address envelope to send the money and ticket in.  How nice of them.

But how bad do cops have to be for them to take 17 people off of death row in Illionis and release them because of bad police work and poor prosicution.

You won't huh, even the the 4 cops that shot a guy 24 times in New York City when the tried to pull out his billfold.  Or the cop in  Indianapolis that killed a motorcyclist  with a blood alcohol content of 1.8.  Or the cop in Anderson that killed the guy, shooting him in the chest twice, because the comb he had in his hand look like a gun.

My sister married a jerk of a fire fighter, nurses that deliver the wrong medicine and I sure had some bad teachers.  My you sure have been lucky.

Fuck you

Thank you, I just told you the truth and you throw the F-Bomb.  Rather immature for a grown person.  But when someone says that they won't say anything bad about a cop, fireman, teacher and nurses sure must be wearing really deep tinted rose colored glasses.  I sorry to blow you little, little bubble.  Thanks again, it nice to hear from a very smart and intelligent person   :salute:  I'm not serious about the last part.

you wouldn't know the truth if it was a 2x4 that somebody yanked out of your ass and hit you in the face with it.
