Picked my first fresh tomato out of my garden, going out right now and pick the second one.  Nothing like a fresh Indiana grown tomato.  :drool1:

You are SOOOO right Troll. I'm reaping the benefits of my coworkers who've had a tremendous tomato crop this year. They keep bringing in all of the extras which is bags and bags full. After I got my fill of tomato sandwiches and turkey B.Ts (I think iceburg lettuce is tasteless and useless) and grilled cheese w/tomatoes I turned some into sauce and some into diced seasoned tomatoes which was frozen for use later when they aren't fresh.

What did I do today, gym, work blah blah blah

Just got out of the hospital after a 23 hour stay.  Elbow swelled up and found out it was a Staph infection.  Not really good.

Now all of the antibiotics they put in me wasn't too bad, but the damn bed about killed me.  It was a Middle Ages torture rack.  :gha: :groan:

I think Henery was running the hospital floor I was on.    Just kidding Henry.

Anne

Did you complain about the bed. My cousin was in the hospital last spring and she did so they brought her up an older one with one of the thicker mattresses. She said it was much better.

I'm glad that you take care of things and don't let them get out of hand. Had it been me I woulda died waiting for the swelling to go down.

I hope you're feeling better, Troll.

Awesome! Did you get misty? ;D

This year, I dropped my last child off at the doors of high school. I'm torn between being excited for her because she's heading into young adulthood and sadness that my baby is gone. However, I always come back to being SOOOO thrilled that we escaped middle school unscathed. ;D

Sandy I don't think you would have let this go by.  From the back of my hand to the shoulder, about 1/3 bigger, hot with fever and it took about one day to do it.  I spent to much time playing phone tag with the doctors trying to get someone to look at my arm.

You can bet one thing, If I can't see a doctor when I need one, I'M GOING TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM.  Staph is a very deadly disease.     If you have a joint swell up and there is no open wound, it is most likely Staph.  My brother-in-law almost died when his knee swelled up and he waited to long.  He spent 10 days in the critical ward and the doctor told him that he had a 50/50 chance to die, if the Staph got into his blood stream.

Just don't be hard headed go get help.  Thanks for your care.

Yeah, when he got on the bus, looked out at us, waved, and mouthed the word "bye" at us. We were all wiping our eyes.

Doggone dust!!
