Don't have any.

Didn't say I did.

Breathe. B-R-E-A-T-H-E. That's better.

I wonder if a used car dealer would meet all the customers holding a Bible and say, "come on in and let's see what kind of a car Jesus and God want you to buy today".  I bet the used car King Ed Clark would have liked to use that.   And Anne would have bought that line of bullshit.  :flap:  :flap:

Actually, I don't like or listen to "bible thumpers", they remind me of the old time "used car pitch men". They all seem to want money.

Sorry, didn't mean to sound strident, just want to know why you think a politically oriented rally can't or shouldn't support a non profit organization. It happens all the time with the unions, NAACP and others. So do you object to political support for non profits in general or just this particular one?

Oh my God Anne you must have your mind clouded by Satan.  Can't you see the charity thing was just a cover for Glen Beck and the Republican Party.

Glen the gold salesman did it as a cover.  Just like Lincoln free the slaves was to help him win the war.

The people that were there were over 50 years old, old Conservative Christians who never voted anything else but Republican and are left over from the people to voted for McCain and Palin.  People who are unhappy that we have a black president.  Plain and simple.

Anne

Again, what difference did it make, they raised money for a worthy cause, if you didn't want to see it or contribuite to it no one made you.

Anne talking to you is like the old saying.  You can drag a mule to the water, but you sure as hell make him drink.  I layed it out for you, you can't see the fraud and deceit......  What ever?  The end.

My mama, a librarian, used to say "You can lead a horticulture, but you can't make her think."

That was in no way directed at Anne. The troll just reminded me of one of my favorite "momisms."

Troll, Troll, Your problem is that you just can't stand for anyone who isn't a democrat to get credit for doing something good.

What makes you so sure this whole thing wasn't simply self-serving?

Well, Bernie Maddoff gave millions of dollars to charities while he was in business.  For years you seen at charity giving the money.  Even George W. honored him at the White House.

Then we found he had stolen BILLIONS OF DOLLARS from his clients.  He even cheated his own person secretory of year of her money.  Her retirement like the did many many more of retires.

I sorry Anne, I'm sorry I can't give credit to the Republican lying, thieving S.O.B..  I just can't credit crooks and con men.  I think you find out someday.  Hope is eternal

It may have been, but the wounded warrior program still got the money, no one made money from the event except the wounded warrior program. What is so wrong with that?

So sorry for you to believe that.  All of the show expenses will come of out of the gross.  Just like Old Glen will tell you, nothing's free.  Sorrrrrrry.  But just get over it.  I don't like Glen Beck, Because he a flim flam man.  A crook.  A snake oil salesman.  A 400% mark up gold salesman.  If you feel good about him, good.  But I really thought you were smarter than that.  OK?

I think that when any non-profit organization cultivates and/or accepts help based on political motives, the organization is treading on EXTREMELY thin ice.

Personally, I would avoid political endorsement like the plague if I were in charge.

Anne believe me when I say this.  I would be more than happy to support and be thrilled if the Republican Party would do something good, other than say no.

Like I would like for them to bring out a bill to correct these American killing FREE TRADE AGREEMENTS, NAFTA, WTO and many more,  a BILL TO STOP LOBBYIST.  I would truly support them.  You think they will ever do it?
