How can you even say that...you are taking a thirty second blurb of words.  Let the man have time to explain everything....

Uh, I can say that because I'm not basing that statement on a 30 second blurb of words.

Bernie is unrealistic....you can't give away a bunch of free stuff and expect the economy to boom.

You don't even know what he's proposed.  How can you even say that Bo, myself, AND John Kasich are wrong when you don't seem to know what he's proposed yourself?  Do you even know anything beyond his 30 second blurb?

Even Carson's own website is sparse on details about his tax plan.  This is literally all it says:

It is too long, too complex, too burdensome, and too riddled with tax shelters and loopholes that benefit only a few at the direct expense of the many.

We need wholesale tax reform.

And, we won't get that from career politicians in Washington. They're too deeply vested in the current system to deliver the kind of bold, fresh, new reforms that the American people are demanding.

We need a fairer, simpler, and more equitable tax system. Our tax form should be able to be completed in less than 15 minutes. This will enable us to end the IRS as we know it.

Did I ever once say that I agree with his Tax proposal?

I was talking about the debate, and it SOMEHOW became a topic of a detail tax proposal of Carson's.

Because it becomes uncomfortable for you when you are asked to provide substance?

Wrong....they DID talk about the issues, if you watched it, you would know that....unfortunately, the dumbass moderators ASKED the stupid questions, that DIDN'T have anything to do with the issues...so, they quickly addressed the dumbass questions, then went on to give an intelligent response about the issues.

Tell me, Henry, how is this an intelligent response to a question?  Ted Cruz on answering a question about the wage gap:  " My mom who's here today, was a single mom when my father left us when I was 3 years old.  Now, thank God, my father was invited to a Bible study and became born again and he came back to my mom and me and we were raised together."

What does that have to do with anything?  I don't give a rat's ass if Ted Cruz's father is born again!    The candidates complain they only have 30 seconds to answer and then they give us that kind of drivel.

Well if you're going to say you have a ton of good candidates, you should at least be able to say why you're supporting them.  Carson often touts his flat tax plan, and you have said that you like Carson, so I guess Bo D assumed you knew something about what he's proposing when he asked the original question on the subject.  ;D

Not really. I assumed Henry knew nothing at all about Carson's tax plan, because evidently, nobody else does either.  :icon_twisted:

Because there isn't one.  Any one of us can stand up there and speak all day long to a myriad of problems that it would be nice to solve...doesn't make us good candidates.

I guess when I say good candidates, I am comparing them to what the democrats have to offer..........from that perspective, they (the republicans) ALL seem very good.   ;)

I could supply you guys with a ton of hard cord facts, and it still wouldn't change anything, you would turn the subject and attack their religion or something.....It is not like I haven't been down this road a few times.

I get your point...I think that is what I don't like about most of these debates........they get 30 seconds to respond to, usually,  a loaded question.  Sometimes, they get sidetracked and never get to their point....and yeah, many times they do it on purpose.

In this particular case, I agree........I think he wasted too much time on something that doesn't mean a hill of beans to most viewers.

I still haven't heard a word from anybody about how PEACHY it is to just have Hillary to pick from.....aren't you the slightest amount offended by this?  Because you should be.
