But it is "appropriate" for Pelosi to go to Syria, despite our POTUS, to see Assad, a terrorist, running a terrorist regime?  But it is WRONG, for Boehner to invite an "ally of a democracy" to come speak to Congress!

c'mon guys?  REALLY?

I didn't have time to address this before HH, but you are talking about apples and oranges here.  There is a big difference between a member of Congress, or even an entire Congressional delegation traveling to a foreign country, and the Speaker of the House of Representative inviting the head of a foreign state to this country to address Congress.  That power lies solely with the POTUS as described in the Constitution.

P.S.  Do you recall who else also went to Syria and was photographed with terrorists?

First of all, I am not defending Boehner.  But it is NOT apples/oranges.  Obama has violated the constitution....now Boehner may be.

THAT is my only point.  If we are going to get all Constitutional, lets not forget Obama.

Yes, I think it IS inappropriate, what Boehner did.  No more so, than what Pelosi did to Bush, by going in to Syria, when she was asked NOT TO.

It would be nice to see congress and the WH play together for the common good.  BOTH of them SUCK!

I am NOT a Boehner fan.  I am NOT a Obama fan.  Both suck!

I think I need to start a "All Politicians and their associated Party absolulely SUCK!" thread!!

Arguing with Christians is like playing chess with a pigeon.  No matter how good I am at chess, the pigeon is just going to knock over the pieces, shit on the board and strut around like it's victorious.

The truth is slow, but relentless. Over time it becomes irresistible.

Possession of marijuana will become legal in the nation's capital, Mayor Muriel Bowser reiterated Wednesday, defying a threat from Congress that she and other city leaders could face prison time for implementing a voter-approved initiative.

Bowser, a Democrat, said the city's plans haven't changed despite a letter from two leading House Republicans warning of repercussions if the city moves forward with legalization, which was set to take effect at 12:01 a.m. Thursday.

This after 70% of the voters of DC voted for it. So much for democracy!

Amazing isn't it?  :roll eyes:

How long will the hold outs go on before they acquiesce to the will of those who pay their frigging salaries?

How many law abiding citizens, who visit the states that have legalized weed and imbibe while visiting, will return to their jobs at home and be fired for failing a random drug test?

What's amazing to me is that the votes of the citizens don't count when the asshole Republicans think they know what's better for them.

He goes around congress and shouldn't so what's the difference? Shouldn't they both involve the other one equally? He is not even listening to his advisors on these negotiations because he, with no experience what-so-ever, thinks he knows best and is going it alone. He won't even listen to the people most closely involved who know more than he ever hopes to know about the situation and how ISIS will react to his "treaty".

"He goes around congress" because he has to in order to get anything accomplished. Oh, and then there is that pesky fact that he does so legally, and within the Constitution.

(You miscreants have steadfastly used that argument to support your party of no, even when what they refused to do negatively impacted your own quality of life!)

The rest of your post is nothing but suppositions and conjecture. There is no way in hell you "know" any such thing. You're just parroting what your resident talking head of the hour tells you. . .  :roll eyes:

And for the record, there isn't an entity outside of ISIS that knows how they will react to anything any governmental entity does. They are, simply put, monsters; and should be treated as such. Killed upon sight. No judge, no jury, no military tribunal. The earth needs to be purged of this scourge and clear and present danger with extreme prejudice.

The only way that happens is for humanity to react as one united front against them. Kill them wherever and whenever they are found, and react in support of all who are confronted by them. Period.

And for the record, I would personally put hot lead into the head of each and every member of that sect, upon sight. Right here, right now. Ironically, I would do so using a firearm that was last wielded in combat by a member of the Nazi monsters; thereby righting the wrong Karma that weapon now carries with it.

Since this post has absolutely nothing to do with the link I posted, can we assume that your intent was to provide another illustration of your inability to read at a fifth grade level?
