:bliss:  I just can't believe it.  Old Newt Gingrich out polls Mitt Romney 55% to 34% in Ohio.  :music1: Oh Happy Days :music1:  When old Newt came :music1:  Oh Happy Day :music1:

Hawk ought too be happy today.  The Republicans turned down the tax cut for the middle class people.  His party just cost him over $1,500 a year, that could have sent him to Panama City Florida 3 week in high style.  But, hell with his money that's just pocket change.

Why did they did they do it.  Because the Democrats wouldn't cut the weeks of unemployment by 60%.  I must say that I have never seen such a group of rich, corporation loving sons of bitches as this group.  :jc:

I have to agree with you.

Had that cut been for the 1%'ers they'd have passed it in record time too!

spoken like a TRUE conservative!!  I agree with him on what he was saying.

Really?  Because your response is exactly the type of partisan bullshit he's ranting about.  A lot of what he's saying is what Perot was espousing over 20 years ago; did you vote for him?

I did. And for a long time I struggled with the thought of having potentially wasted my vote back then. However, as time has passed I have realized that every damned thing he warned us about back then was coming to fruition; and these days I feel pretty damned smug over having been smart enough back then to understand what Perot was telling us, and for realizing he was indeed right!

So did I, twice.  The only wasted vote is the one you cast for someone other than the person you think is the right choice for the job.

I made the wrong choice in 96, when I did not vote for him a second time. I have regretted that since 98. . .

About the only consolation I take from it is that I was not alone in making that mistake. (And a small consolation it is).  In 96 I was still struggling with the whole "wasted vote" thought. . . 98 was the beginning of my personal realization that my vote in 92 was NOT wasted. . . but rather the one in 96 WAS!

I have said for years though, that this country would be in an entirely better position in all aspects, had the majority of the American people possessed the education, critical thought skills, and courage, to understand Ross Perot and what he was telling us back in 92 & 96, and embraced him as POTUS.

I liked him, I did not vote for him, but would have been okay if he won it.  He made a lot of sense.  He was a little goofy though.....he is much like Ron Paul.
