This was the only thing I could find, Henry, other than a bunch of very recent Faux News opinion pieces, which did not offer any more facts.

http://www.politico.com/blogs/politicolive/0510/Sestak_confirms_WH_job_offer_to_get_out_of_Senate_race.html?showall

The White House was backing incumbent Sen. Arlen Specter (D-Pa.) in the primary. Sestak acknowledged in an interview in February that he was offered a position by an unnamed White House official - a potential violation of federal law - but has not offered any specifics on conversation. Republicans are trying to use the issue against Sestak in the November Senate race.

It happened back in February (if it happened at all) and was revealed then. Why the sudden interest?

let's just wait and see....it may very well be nothing, but this statement made by Congressman Issa:

For months, a United States Congressman has stated that the White House offered him a job in exchange for not running in an election -- we call this a bribe. Despite being asked numerous times, the White House has not refuted Congressman Sestak's allegations, but refuses to disclose who offered what and when. So this Administration, that pledged to be a beacon of transparency and change, continues to conceal from the American people the truth about what exactly was said and offered. Until we get direct answers, this White House doesn't have a leg to stand on when they talk about openness and change.

The question comes down to....Did the White House offer him a job in the administration...to pull out his spot for Arlene Spector.....

Damn, your dumb, just watch the TV.  It's been on every night the last three days.  Watch CNN and MSNBC.  It's all there on tape, the actual sound bits coming out of his mouth.

You have to watch something else but Fox News.  You just don't get it, do you.  Fox doesn't tell you dumbies anything bad about Republicans.  Wise up.

You betcha I'll stop that pervert that's writting a book about me and my life.  I'll build a 14 foot wood fence.  Wink, Wink.  So SARA did.  In my town you can't build a fence over 6 foot tall.  She still must have connections or in fishville she can build anything she wants and still go :fish:

One more thing I would like to know.  :dam: WHERE IN HELL IS LOUD MOUTH, ex-CEO of Halliburton, OIL MAN DICK CHENEY. :rifle: :cowboy:  :blah: :blah:

For months he was telling Obama how to run the wars he and his friends caused and screwed up.  But how when, "we might need him?"  He's hiding out again.  Just like after 9/11.  WHERE YOU AT DICK WHEN WE MIGHT NEED YOU. :sarcasm:

Well, Henry there is a author who rented a house next to Sara Paylin's.  He writting a book about Sara's life and her family relationship.  She accused him of being a pervert among other things. watching her children and so on and so on.  So Sara built a 14 foot high fence between the two houses.  :rotfl: :rotfl:

Who in hell gives a damn what Sara does.  She's the one who wanted fame.  Now she got, she can shut up quit crying crocodile tears.  She drags her kids everywhere, so what a few more picture going to hurt.

Well, she did bring it on herself. She's no different than the Gosselins in that case, but if America wasn't so hungry for every meaningless detail of a person's life there wouldn't be a market for it. She has a right to privacy and she has a right to protect her children. If she had real pull, then the guy next door would've gotten the boot. Let her have her fence. Besides, why are there laws which tell us how high a fence can be on MY property?

In my town there is a zoning or building rule, that a privacy fence can't be over 6 feet tall and all swimming pools above the ground or in the ground must have a 6 foot fence.  So the dumbone's won't fall in and drown.  Where do you live, in the country or the sticks.

I had a pool and a 6 foot fence, don't have the pool but still have the fence.  Nice.

Well, where I live it isn't an option either way, but my point is that I don't think someone should have a law prohibiting anything on my property as long as it's up to par safety-wise.

Which is exactly why I'll never live in a community controlled by a HOA.

Yeah, those HOA's are real jackasses. I know, I live in a community with one. . .

Rules and zoning laws vary from city to city and state to state so it is probably perfectly legal where she lives.
