Same mentality of the many people who get gov assistance.  If they can get FREE money, they don't care who else has to pay for it, they want it anyway.

Exactly...entitlement mentality.
Arguing with Christians is like playing chess with a pigeon.  No matter how good I am at chess, the pigeon is just going to knock over the pieces, shit on the board and strut around like it's victorious.

The truth is slow, but relentless. Over time it becomes irresistible.

and THAT is one of the things that bothers me about the "left".  They endorse the "entitlement mentality".

Bullshit.

"Bullshit" all you want. It is a simple observation.  Entitlements always grow under democrat administrations.  Before you bite my head off, I am NOT against helping those who need it.  I AM, against GIVING away those programs to those who just know how to milk the system....and there are an alarming amount of folks who DON'T need it, but get it, because they can.

I am pretty certain I could go to the Heritage Foundation and provide all sorts of statistics to support my thoughts.  I know how you love them as a source, so forget that plan.

I think the two parties basic platforms suggest exactly my point....but with that said,

A record 5.4 million workers and their dependents have signed up to collect federal disability checks since President Obama took office
and Two food stamp recipients for every job created under Obama's office.

In my opinion, this speaks volumes.

and this just in....

Food stamp recipients are turning the government benefits into quick cash with ads on Craigslist, despite efforts to stem fraud, as well as auction sites like eBay — sellers offer the EBT cards at large discounts from face value.

and

Since 2008, the cost of SNAP has more than doubled from $34 billion to $74 billion

You seem to be pretty good at pointing out the symptoms; how are you with identifying the root cause though? Thus far you are getting Maggie's drawers my friend. (Here's a hint; it isn't this administrations doing).

How long did it take Roosevelt to get out of Herbert Hoover's (Republican) depression?   More than 5  years and World War II, Clarabell.

I may shock you for posting this one, but it is a democrat, lambasting a fraud, who got $500 million from the IRS.  Ms Duckworth, a democrat rips this guy, PERFECTLY!
My point is, that we need to continue to nail FRAUDS who are taking advantage of our ignorant system.

Man I have a hard enough time remembering what I posted yesterday......

I actually thought it was longer ago than June myself.

But at least I did remember.
