If you want to get to the heart of what makes republicans so stupid, there is a good book to read:

The Republican Brain: The Science of Why They Deny Science- and Reality
Chris Mooney (Author)

The book should have been named the "conservative" mind, as the folks it refers to are the authoritarians, and not just republicans, even though most republicans fit the bill, now!
Hardly an unbiased piece of work considering he writes for a liberal blog.  Guess that would kind of make him the Ann Colter of the liberals.

Hasn't happened yet but that is the next step in the character assassination to distract from the real issues.

You mean the real issues like Romney's half-baked tax plan that will benefit the rich at the expense of the middle class and poor or the real issue for you that a black man is in the White House?

Kind of like all of you that wanted a birth certificate and "ran with it" even though there was no reason to believe it was true.

My oh my, did we hear about Clinton screwing around in the the White House getting a blow job.  Over and over and over the Republicans beat the drum.  Going as far as Impeaching him.  Which I am so happy the Republican didn't get done.  But, we never heard of him having an a affair.

It sure is a pleasure for me when we can turn the tables on the damn Republicans.  Mitt having an affair screwing other women while he is Mormon and married.   Oh my oh, I'll bet the Mormon Church isn't to happy about that.    Oh let us pray again.   :toothless:  It doesn't seem to work. :jc:

:music1:  Oh happy day.  :music1:  Oh happy day.  :music1:  When Jesus comes.  :music1: And when Mitt screws around. :music1:  Oh happy days. :music1:  :haha:

One thing about living in a state full of stupid Republicans and a state government run by the Republicans, we won't have to hear all of those political ads about how great the Golden Con Man is. :puke:

We will only have to hold our nose when the ads come on about how great Pense and Murdoch the brainless Teabaggers are.  :puke:

There will not be any need for character assassination initiatives. The GOP has done a good enough job of this themselves over the last 4 years.

Why do the conservatives on this forum continue to ignore the Tax Policy Center's report released last week that emphatically proves that Romney's tax plan is a joke and would serve only to increasingly increase the wealth of the rich on the backs of the poor and middle class?  Do they think that by ignoring this they can claim ignorance while using "policy" to cloak their obviously racial bias?

To put the question another way, why would anyone who him/herself is middle class vote for someone for president who has put forth a tax plan that benefits rich people while costing them money?  In a word, they wouldn't so it must be something besides policy driving these people and it isn't hard to figure out what it is.

Even though Adam Looney, a former Obama adviser is the main author of Study, and political contributions have been given to Obama, I guess there would be no reason at all for him to be biased, huh?

I also have faith that our house and senate will be controlled by conservatives to actually oversee a reasonable tax plan that WILL stimulate our economy and create job growth.

The fact is, unemployement is higher now than it was when Obama took office....and our economy is STILL struggling.

So my question to the liberals on this forum is why do you ignore the clearly, failed leadership and policies put into place by this administration and want four more years of the same?  Or worse IF he allows the current tax policies to expire as he and the dems, so badly want?

Uh, one of the study's co-authors is William Gale, who was a staff economist on George H.W. Bush's Council of Economic Advisers and the Tax Policy Center is directed by Donald Marron, who was actually a principal on George W. Bush's Council of Economic Advisers.  Romney's campaign has referred to the group's work as "objective, third-party analysis" during the primary so your claim of bias is, as all of your other claims, absolute bullshit.

Now, that the folly of your claim has been exposed, answer the question...or don't...we all know why you hate Obama and it has nothing to do with policy because you have no idea what his policies are nor what your white guy would replace them with.  All you and most of the rest of you care about is that Romney is white and Obama isn't.  You're just too cowardly to admit what is obvious to every thinking person on the planet.

Ex, I have come to the conclusion that these people want the rich to get richer, the too big to fail corporations and banks to get bigger.  They would be more than happy to make all Millionaires, Billionaires and all business and corporations tax exempt.  Leaving all of the capital projects of roads, bridges, interstates and all of the other things that has made this country great.  To put that load on the backs of the middle class, the poor, the sick and the old.  Letting the 2% of the population live in their gated and guarded communities and let the people who put them in the upper 2% work for $5 a day and a bowl of moldy rice.

Oh, my Sky Guy, I'm talking about living in Mexico or some other third world country.  I know there is no changing in their thinking as long as they have it as good as they have.  But, I do enjoy venting my spleen on them.

But EX, what gets me with all of their spouting of how good the Republican Party is.  THEY WON'T TELL US WHAT HAVE HAVE DONE FOR THE MIDDLE CLASS, THE POOR, THE SICK AND THE OLD.  Also Romney will not give us a solid platform of what he is going to do. :bs:

The Golden Wizard in hiding behind the curtain in Land of Oz keeping everything he has done secret.  He history of being governor, he books of the Olympics and his record of paying his taxes all burnt or hidden.  What is this Mormon hiding.  Would anyone loan this man any money with his past record of cheating business and people out of their lively hoods.   Not me.

With all of this secret and hidden history.  He says, "Trust Me" and these fools are going to vote to make him the president of The United States of America. :4th3:  But, they both voted for George W. Bush twice, they voted for John Mc Cain and Sarah Palin and they are going to vote for Willard Mitt Romney.  Does that tell you anything.  :haha:  :haha:  :jester:  :jester:

Again, you show your ignorance and your inability to comprehind facts.  I know that ticks you off, but it IS obvious, when you make such statements....because YOU are 100% WRONG.  That is not even open for argument and I will not agrue it because it is as wrong as wrong can be.  I will not waste my time any further discussing it.  You are merely hard headed and have a miscontrued way of utilizing any logic when it comes to this area.  I think it is a very, very weak attempt to misguide many voters, and a very, very sad and pathetic way to demonize the truth.

Joplin Mo. mosque razed in fire.  2nd blaze this summer.  I bet it isn't the blacks, the Mexicans or the Liberals to have done this crime.  It has to be some type of Right Wing Republican racist hate group who did this.  In the name of god, Amen.  Let us pray.  :preach:  :pope:  Amen!
