talk about propaganda.....there is NO way he was going to use that word.....he stumbled, but I do not believe for a moment that that was the intended word....he has been around WAY to long to go that direction...but, he said enough to have gullible folks jump on the bandwagon and thrash him for it.

That would be political suicide.....and all conservatives would drop him like a rock IF he DID use that word.  IF, there were any truth to it.....it would/should cost him and justifiably so.

I don't think I recall anyone on here saying that no Democrats are racist.

That being said, you can't deny that there certainly is a racial component to some of this widespread hatred of Obama from many in this country.  I don't know how much you get out HH, but I get around quite a bit, and I've seen it, and I've heard it.   I've heard Obama referred to as a ni****; I've heard people denigrate him because of his race; I've seen T-shirts saying, "Let's put white back in the White House."   That's racism plain and simple.  It's not objection to policy, it's simply racism.

I'll also reiterate what I've said a couple of times before around here.  It's beyond amazing that the transformation of the Tea Party zealots from mere couch potatoes to "in your face" political activists just happened to coincide with the election of the first person of color to the office of President of the United States.

Just more newsworthy is all and easy fodder to be used.  Not newsworthy before so they got no attention.  Simple as that. Turn it into something it isn't and use it for all it's worth in other words.

I know there ARE racists voting against Obama....I also honestly believe that many of them are democrats, who would vote republican or not vote at all, rather than vote for a black man.

I also know that many of the black conservatives has been castigated as "Uncle Toms" JUST because they have conservative views by many, many democrats.

Agreed on both counts.

I go with what I see and hear in this case, and clearly the jackwagon meant to say "Government ******", and there is no getting around that. What possible other "N" word could he have intended to say? Government nipple, government nag,. . .

You can explain it away all you like, but it is what it is. Now perhaps he felt so comfortable up there opening his pie-hole that he forgot where he was at and reverted to his private mode of speaking; but you cannot un-ring the bell. And he smacked it with a 20 pound sledgehammer!

And for your information, my commentary was indeed a generalization of the repugnican party but a well deserved one. I would submit that it is very likely they are not all lucidly racists, but their steadfast and blind support of candidates and political platforms that clearly are, earns them the moniker.

  IN SEARCH OF FREEDOM?

In a 4 to 5 ruling the Republican Supreme Court ruled that when the police detain or arrest a man, woman or child, they can strip search you.  No matter how small the charge is.  Just wait when a teacher thinks a school girl has an asprin on her.

Damn, this is really becoming a police state.  What else can the 5 Republicans on the Supreme Court come up with.

He's the one that brought it up and should have supplied it.  I mean that's what's expected of me if I bring up something.

When I say something like this you can take it to the bank.  I don't lie and I don't spin the facts like you and the Hawk.  There is no need to lie when the truth is on your side.  Just try this for awhile it feels nice.

I bet your got your rocks off when they strip searched your hubby.  :haha:   :haha:  How long did you keep him in jail.

Old Mitt Romney should go into the butter making business.  He thinks the Ryan budget bill is marvelous and if he is elected he will sign it on the first day in office.

Old Mitt would add the Ryan budget bill to a tank of 300 million gallons of whole milk (population of USA).  After stirring for awhile all of the butter fat would rise to the top where all the butter is and at the bottom the rest of the milk would be low fat skimmed milk.  What a marvelous plan and you can have all of the skimmed milk you want to drink if you're in the 99%, if you vote for Mitt.  :rotfl:  :rotfl:

That isn't the point.  What you posted has been standard procedure for a lot of years and is nothing new.  Your post lead people to believe it was something new.

just because they did it, don't make it right or fair.  But, what's fair about the 5 Republicans on the Supreme Court.  What will they dream up next.
