Okay, then return the tax rates to 70% for the top taxpayers and see how the employment rate goes.....THAT is where the rate would have to be in order to generate enough revenue to pay our current bills.....the rich in NY would be paying 85% of their income....that ought make business flourish  :rolleyes:

  I am here watching TV and the house is getting ready to pass the bill or not.  We will see what the wonderful Tea Baggers do.  As far as the taxes you talk about, it's funny it worked under Eisenhower, Reagan, Bush Sr. and Clinton.  It's funny how bad it has got for the whole country with George W's tax cut for the rich. :knife:

  What Mitch McConnell said about stacking the super congress with people who will not negotiate on raising taxes or doing away with corporate welfare goes to shows you the level of corruption the greedy bastard will reach to bow :bow: and :kissit: kiss the ass of super rich and the corporations.

  I have never hated a group of people and their followers as I hate the Republican/Tea Party.  I am totally piss off by Obama letting them get by with the robbery of the riches of the middle class.  I will vote straight Democrat, vote for Obama.  I will  vote and not give my vote to a damn Republican/Tea Party member.  In fact I have gone beyond being a Yellow Dog Democrat, I would vote for a slimy filthy piece of dog shit before I would vote Republican/Tea Party.

That is exactly what happens when the "party of no" is allowed to run roughshod over the citizens they supposedly work for. And that is just the start!

  First of all I lost $63,000 out of my retirement fund under George W. Bush's Republican Party and his stock market thieves. :007:  I did what every responsible person is suppose to do getting ready for retirement and the bastard Republican's still got me and stole part of my retirement and millions of other people's retirement.  :007:  :hanged: Them.

  Second I had made it almost back under Obama, $11,000 short.

Hum, guess it would have had nothing to do with the fact that Reid and Obama are talking about borrowing and spending even more money could it?  Na, that would give the stock market a boost and give investors more confidence in our government and give them a more positive opinion about our economy.  Gosh how silly of me not to see that.  :doh:
