Are you saying that it is impossible for Chrysler to shuffle money around to make it possible to legally repay the TARP as I have described and how the article describes?

That's not your original point.

Now answer the questions:

1)  Where, point it out.

2)  Why does Obama deserve "to be bashed for this"?

3)  Where is their dishonesty?

4)  Please provide direct quotes from Fiat/Chrysler and Obama.

5)  Please point out how "the taxpayers are still on the hook for 3.5 billion dollars."

Yes it was. Go back and read.

Since you're far too lazy to do your own work, and like to misrepresent your previous foolishness:

And this crap just keeps getting better and better. It seems that Chrysler is not really paying back the debt with their own money. It is actually taxpayer money, funneled through Fiat, to pay back taxpayer money.

From the end of the article:

Quote
So, to recap, the Obama Energy Department is loaning a foreign car company $3.5 billion so that it can pay the Treasury Department $7.6 billion even though American taxpayers spent $13 billion to save an American car company that is currently only worth $5 billion.

My post that started this conversation was a slam on Chrysler using taxpayer money to repay taxpayer money.

2)  Why does Obama deserve "to be bashed for this"?

By being dishonest with the public by saying that Chrysler repaid their TARP load without mentioning that Chrysler now has another DOE loan for 3.5 billion.

3)  Where is their dishonesty?

See above.

4)  Please provide direct quotes from Fiat/Chrysler and Obama.

"Less than two years ago, we made a commitment to repay the U.S. and Canadian taxpayers in full and today we made good on that promise," Chrysler and Fiat CEO Sergio Marchionne said in a statement Tuesday

President Barack Obama released a statement Tuesday regarding Chrysler's repayment of its loans.

"Chrysler's repayment of its outstanding loans to the U.S. Treasury and American taxpayers marks a significant milestone for the turnaround of Chrysler and the countless communities and families who rely on the American auto industry," he said.

"This announcement comes six years ahead of schedule and just two years after emerging from bankruptcy, allowing Chrysler to build on its progress and continue to grow as the economy recovers.

"Supporting the American auto industry required making some tough decisions, but I was not willing to walk away from the workers at Chrysler and the communities that rely on this iconic American company.

"I said if Chrysler and all its stakeholders were willing to take the difficult steps necessary to become more competitive, America would stand by them, and we did. While there is more work to be done, we are starting to see stronger sales, additional shifts at plants and signs of strength in the auto industry and our economy, a true testament to the resolve and determination of American workers across the nation."

Neither mention the DOE loan

5)  Please point out how "the taxpayers are still on the hook for 3.5 billion dollars."

By getting a loan from the DOE, a TAXPAYER funded agency. But you knew this already

By getting a loan from the DOE, a TAXPAYER funded agency. But you knew this already

1)  Don't forget Obama.

It was also a lie, C/F cannot legally use DOE money to directly pay off that loan.

2)  They didn't have to because it would be the same lie you'd regurgitated.  C/F cannot legally use DOE money to directly pay off that loan.

3)  See 2.

4)  Those unsourced quotes don't prove "Neither Chrysler/Fiat nor Obama is being honest with the public."

They don't have to mention the DOE loan because, once again, C/F cannot legally use the DOE money to directly pay off that loan.

5)  But not in the sense that you and your sources have tried to portray with your lies.  C/F did not use the DOE money to directly pay off that loan because they cannot legally do so.

Have any of this sunk in yet?

C/F cannot use those DOE funds to directly repay TARP.  What about that is so hard to understand?

Are you still claiming they can?  Since from your 'shuffle' claim you give off the impression you're a corporate accounting genius, just how would C/F 'shuffle' those DOE funds around to use them to directly repay TARP?

You good people by now know I have some strong hates.  But there is nothing more that I hate is the Republican/Tea Party.  In the last 10 years I have never seen such a party of hate, lying, cheating and robbing American workers of their rights and protecting the Super Rich and the Corporations.  What lies they tell about wanting to help the small business man or woman.

Telling the religious right they are going to do something about abortion, gay marriage.  Telling them they are going to make the Christian religion the only religion.  The absolutely doing nothing.  What fool these people are who vote Republican.

The Troll

:fireworks:  :fireworks: WAKE UP AMERICANS  :fireworks: :fireworks:

When is the American people and the American workers going to wake up the bad times the Republican Party is bringing America.

Just look at the states controlled by a Republican State House and a Republican Governor.  They and the Christians theocracy is slowly taking the people freedoms.  With draconian labor laws, abortion laws and anti-gay laws.  These people want control of every bed room and have their nose in everyone personal business.

The want to cut taxes on the business, corporations and the rich incomes.  But oh how they want to cut the schools, increase property tax on the citizens homes.  Tax food and increase the price of every government service for the average citizen.

When are the American people going to wise up to the Republican Party.  That they are for the rich by to rich and are controlled by the rich.  But let us not forget they are using the Christian Sheeple to help speed up their control.  Let us  :preach: :pope: and not forget old smokey the holy :ghost:

Talk about the dirty tricks of the Republican Party have you seen what the Wisconsin Republicans are doing?  The Democrats were going to run just one Democrat in the Recall election, the recall of crooked Republican state leaders.

No so, the Republicans are going to run false Democrats, causing a primary election and at add cost to the state to give the Republicans more time to try and bolster the recalled Republicans.

All of these bad laws these Republicans passed were because, "the state need to save money"  Talk about your double talk, lying and crooked politics.

And, what is worse (and pathetic) is that there are so many people who think that what they are doing is a good idea.

Ethics be damned.
Ignorance and fanaticism are ravenous. They require constant feeding.

Kind of like the fake tea party candidate the Dems ran in New York to take votes away from the Republican?  Oh wait, I forgot myself there for a minute...the Dems are allowed to do that but the Republicans aren't.  Damn I'm gonna have to watch that.

They do that because it's as easy as taking candy from a baby.  Republicans are so stupid and gullible that they'll follow along easily like the good little sheeple they are.
Arguing with Christians is like playing chess with a pigeon.  No matter how good I am at chess, the pigeon is just going to knock over the pieces, shit on the board and strut around like it's victorious.

The truth is slow, but relentless. Over time it becomes irresistible.

One more thing about the Republican dirty tricks here in Indiana.  You know the asshole Mitch Daniels by executive order destroy the state workers union.  Good old son of a bitch Mitch Daniels in one swoop took the people rights away from them.

The Republicans last passed a bill taking away the executive order from anymore governors in the case of unions, so any following governor cannot change it back the same as the asshole did.

You would think the working people would catch of the asshole Republicans and their hate of the common working man.

Damn I hate these Rebublican son of bitches.  May they rot in hell.  :devil29:

I had a nightmare last night.  I dream that Mike Pense was elected Indiana's governor and the state dropped to last place in standing for having a good state to live in.  The Tea Party/ Republicans, Christians took over the state.
