Oh really?  Herman Cain, Condi, Palin, Bush, and the list goes on.  The were ran through the wringer and you know it.  I just named the few I could recall off hand but there are a bunch more.

Arguing with Christians is like playing chess with a pigeon.  No matter how good I am at chess, the pigeon is just going to knock over the pieces, shit on the board and strut around like it's victorious.

My thought of the day....

the biased one-sided, so-called critical thinkers on here has made it, IMPOSSIBLE to have a logical conversation regarding politics.

When they start lumping people into a category they are doing the propaganda thing and spreading untruths so yes, I guess I am.  That group, just like the occupy wall street group, had some bad eggs that split off and want to cause unrest and some imposters who want their 15 min of "glory".  At least Fox was truthful in saying that the occupy wall st people had been infiltrated when things started getting violent and didn't make out like they were all like that.  There are always bad eggs in any group and you know it.  The Tea Party are mostly older, non violent, well educated, retired, and some blue collar workers, who just want smaller government.  Plus, contrary to what they, the main stream media tries to convenience people of, there are several blacks in the organization and they are hit hard by the liberals, who say they aren't racist, as far as being called names and belittled for being in the group.

What about the people who get some trash in their inbox and then pass it on as gospel truth ... i.e., "Grapes can't now grow in England" or post pictures of a "luxury" prison in the U.S.?

Or how about posting a blog about a CIA coverup in Benghazi and then weirdly connecting it the White House?

Or connecting to Obama to creationism because he claims to be a Christian?

The list could go on and on ....

Seriously? Is that logical?

I have yet to hear a cogent explanation of the origins of the Tea Party just happening to coincide with the election of the first back man to the office of POTUS.  Surely it isn't mere coincidence.   Can you explain it?

I know I am going to regreat even responding to this, but the Tea Party movement that the VAST majority of people decided to take part of, started by the reaction of CNBC's Rick Santelli getting fired up screaming that America needed "a new kind of tea party," so that citizens can express their discontent with "the government's support of fiscal irresponsibility....

"The government is promoting bad behavior! [...] How many of you people want to pay for your neighbor's mortgage that has an extra bathroom and can't pay their bills? Raise their hand. (boos) President Obama, are you listening?! We're thinking of having a Chicago Tea Party in July. All you capitalists that want to show up at Lake Michigan, I'm going to start organizing. [...] I'll tell you what, if you read our Founding Fathers, people like Benjamin Franklin and Jefferson, what we're doing in this country now, is making them roll over in their graves."

It had ZERO to do with the color of skin.....ZERO!

Sure there were racists that took part and tried to spoil the apple cart.....but by and far the vast majority of these folks ARE Doctors, Businessmen, blue-collar workers and anybody tired of our government being obnoxious with our tax dollars.

THAT is the true origin of the Tea Party Movement.

He wants to expand, and was expanding, government and they are against it so they formed.  What's so hard to understand about that?  Seems to me there were different groups formed for every other president too and it concerned policies so why should it be different for this president?  Should he be treated special?  Should we go along with everything he does?  Does being black give him a special pass?

Puleeeze!!  Government malfeasance like what they're supposedly against existed long before Obama's first term.   What were the motivational factors that led this collective group of purported 'patriots' to suddenly get spurred to action circa late January 2009?

C'mon HH!  You and 'me' aren't that stupid.
