I listened, but to me, it's more of the same.

So, the crowd didn't boo during the prayer. They wouldn't have, because disrupting a prayer would be disrespectful to God. I guess I can give the person saying the prayer a couple points for including an administration that they clearly  hate.

Other than that, Whittle may not come across as fanatical as Palin, but his speech was full of nonsense. For example how he used a few random, out of context comments, to make the claim that congress isn't following the constitution. So, I wonder if he was as outraged when Bush and Co stomped all over the constitution by using illegal wiretaps?  His comments about how far the Democrats have come from the initial creation of the party and while that's a true statement,  the same could be said about the Republican party, I wonder what the originators of the Republican Party and Abraham Lincoln would say about the Republican party today.

I thought it was kinda cheap, the way he spoke about the veteran's "paying the price" for freedom, so the "regular" people don't have to go up on the hill and shed blood to save the country,  which to me, was eerily similar to the Sunday school lesson where Jesus "paid the price" so that the rest of us can be saved. Although considering that most of the audience was probably right wing conservative christians, they probably lapped that familiar tale right up.


I wonder if anyone fact-checked  him on the 30% of all congressional races go unchallenged remark.


The "knock the communists right out of their boots" comment was a bit over the top.

As I said, nothing profound, nothing intelligent, more of the same. His goal, was to feed the crowd w/what they wanted to hear and believe. Seriously, people make it WAY to easy to be lead around by the nose. People reference the comments of his and people like him, as if that's all the information they need and that's the problem I have with this.

I think that people should protest if they're unhappy with how things are going and I have all the respect in the world for them, even if I don't agree, if they are informed and have fact based logical reasons for their stance. Anything less is just drama.

it comes down to you simply are just a bleeding heart liberal, and cannot understand why hard working, tax-paying Americans don't like the rhetoric of this corrupt congress...sure Bush spent WAY too much money and had STILL been spending money like these bandits are, with unemployment near 10% and inflation taking off....there would be the SAME conservative tea-party movements...I can assure you....like Whittle said, this is NOT a republican thing it is an Americans thing were people are SICK to DEATH of spending money we don't have to spend....Obama with his trillion dollars spending bills has sent these folks through the roof.....

and I assure you there are several liberals who are fact checking everything that is said at these parties, just hoping to add to their demonization of these fine people....I am so very proud to associate myself with them...and that aint' no joke.

  Henry, I was listening to a very well know Professor on the banking industry and the stockmarket, today.  He said, that if Obama hadn't have bailed out the banks  we would be in a worse depression than Hoover have ever thought about.

  He also said, we still are still endanger of having a depression, if the Republican don't start working to get us out of this problem we are now in.  They are are going to have to quit saying NO. 

  As far a being a Liberel, a progressive, a person who thinks people deserves to have health care in one of the riches country.  Who think the working people comes first in this country, who thinks the super rich, the bankers and Wallstreet thieves should be keep under control and the unions are one of the best thing that has happened to the USA,  I AM GUILTY.

I am one of the hard-working tax paying Americans and I do understand what I'm happy or not happy about, but from what I see, most of the "good hard-working folk" on the right who are complaining are basing their gripe on buzz words like "tyranny", "communism", "socialism" and are completely clueless of the facts.
