What makes you think no one watches Fox? The difference is that I don't rely on it as my only news source.

You need to reread what you just posted.
She isn't running for any political office that I know of, she is no longer holding a public office in case you hadn't heard, a lot of other people write books and go on tour, and a lot of other people offer opinions on national TV.  So what's so special about her?

She's willing to put her comments out there in the most public way.

We make remarks here and are taken to task if they are inaccurate.

She attracts a larger audience because of her past.

Whenever a public figure, past or present, offers controversial or stupid remarks, he/she is going to be examined, minutely.

What part of this process do you not understand?
