I know exactly how it works Y, and leadership is exactly what it is supposed to mean....

and comparing Phelps to Christianity is like comparing Mary Poppins to the Hells Angels....

1.  Obviously not, and not what you imply it means.

2. Bzzzzt!  Wrong again.  Mary Poppins (even being a fictional character) never claimed to be, or was ever associated in any manner with, the Hell's Angels.

Law of Logical Argument - Anything is possible if you don't know what you are talking about.  ;)

"You've probably noticed that opinion pollsters go out of their way to include as many morons as possible in surveys ... I think it's dangerous to inform morons about what their fellow morons are thinking. It only reinforces their opinions. And the one thing worse than a moron with an opinion is lots of them." -- Scott Adams

In other words: Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.  ;)

Naw...just had lunch, and I have WAY to harry legs to munch on...

and Phelps by his actions of hatred, clearly puts him in any category other than Christian....just because he says he is, does not mean he is....by any way shape or form...

and here is an example of what I am talking about leadership..........allowing such WASTED spending to go on during econimic hardship.....this from last weeks Defense Bill...

In all, Congress added in 1,720 pet projects, including:
$5 million for a visitors center in San Francisco
$23 million for indigent health care in Hawaii
$18 million for the Edward Kennedy Policy Institute in Massachusetts
$1.6 million to computerize hospital records in Oakland
$47 million for anti-drug training centers around the country
$20 million for the World War II Museum in Louisiana
$3.9 million grant to develop an energy-efficient solar film for buildings
$800,000 for minority prostate cancer research
$3.6 million for marijuana eradication in Kentucky
$2.4 million for handicap access and a sprinkler system at a community club in New York

THIS is an example of POOR leadership, be it Nancy or Harry's or BHO's.........it is wrong.

You better leave Harry's legs alone!  He might not like ya' gnawin' on them...

1. Be careful painting with that brush!  You see someone might paint you with it, if actions of hatred start being defined (think death penalty, war, abortion, etc.).

Anyway, Phelps states he IS a x-tian...and that you might not be under his definition.  Why shouldn't we take him at his word?

<click!  another trap is set>

2.  How do you tie Nancy, Harry, or Barrak into those examples?

<a'layin' traps all around>

Exterminator

Arguing with Christians is like playing chess with a pigeon.  No matter how good I am at chess, the pigeon is just going to knock over the pieces, shit on the board and strut around like it's victorious.

The truth is slow, but relentless. Over time it becomes irresistible.

Nothing just like this thread making fun of Palin for mistyping.  I didn't see any of you making fun of Obama for saying he had made campaign stops in 56 states.

Actually, that's not what it was about.  That's just icing on the cake.  I'm also not sure it was a mistype.

This is why she's "really that fuckin' stupid."  You must have missed the bold in my very first post.

(CNN)– In a late night posting on her Twitter feed, Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin continued to blast climate change believers Friday, calling the talks in Copenhagen, Denmark a representation of man's "arrogance," for believing people have an impact on nature.

If ole' Sarah doesn't believe people have an impact on nature, I wonder what she thinks every time she rides by her local landfill there in Wasilla.

I probably ignored it because I know what she meant and you are making mountains out of molehills. Yes, we can clean up the environment by conserving and not polluting but we can't control nature the way Gore and all those idiots are pushing for.  Nature will do what it will do just like in the ice age and there is nothing that can stop it.

they know exactly what she meant ME, they just WANT so badly for her to go away...they spin EVERYTHING she says...she has been quite clear on her position on GW.....

Reading this kind of exchange is like watching the "Black Knight" sequence in Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

King Arthur: after Arthur's cut off both of the Black Knight's arms Look, you stupid Bastard. You've got no arms left.
Black Knight: Yes I have.
King Arthur: *Look*!
Black Knight: It's just a flesh wound.

Where's the fun in using irrefutable logic and rapier wit to destroy an argument when your Black Knight doesn't even realize (s)he's been de-pantsed!
