I think it's a crock myself.

Why?  If she's not fulfilling her contractual obligations as Trump asserted, then why would they not have grounds for the actions that they took?

Perez Hilton, as a judge, was not suppose to ask a loaded question that proved he was there to promote his own agenda.

Also, judges are suppose to judge them on their ability to convey their answer to the question, not on the opinion rendered.

I believe his votes should have been disqualified when he went public afterwards, trashing Carrie and claiming she lost votes from him because of her answer.  He'd also posted on his website that had she won, he'd have gotten on the stage and ripped her crown off. For that, he should have had a protective order issued against him IMO.

More than that, if anyone has bothered to check out his trashy website, you'll see that he routinely trashtalks women in general, with incredibly filthy language. That he was asked to be a judge in the first place reflects very badly on Trump.

It also reflects badly that Trump had a former Playboy Bunny running his pageant, and demanding that the girls abide by certain purity rules to be in the pageant.

None of Carrie's questionable photographs came close to the skin exhibited by the swimsuit competition, and, certainly didn't even begin to come close to Shanna Moakler's spread in Playboy.

There was another girl dethroned earlier who demanded that Carrie lose her crown, too... but the other little girl had been out barhopping and poising for extremely lewd photographs while obviously drunk... so no comparison there either.

My guess is Carrie was probably very happy to be let go, because she'll have better things to accomplish with her life now.

I think it's hysterical that any of you even considers anything about a freakin' beauty pagent seriously.

I sure don't.....if I did, I'd STILL be upset about not winning the Jr. Miss pagaent back in 1979.
Looks like I've come full circle.

Who says we do? I don't watch them. I think the pageant industry is one of the most hypocritical industries on the planet.

On the one hand, the girls are suppose to be pure and not involved in risque behavior at any time prior to their entering the pageant, and then they have the gay guys working with these girls, and judging them... which is the polar opposite of the Christian values these girls are suppose to represent. Not to mention them being dolled up and pranced around half-naked. So it's twisted to begin with...

Decades ago, at a state pageant, the girls were not even allowed to be around their boyfriends, brothers or fathers... but they could have gay guys helping with their hair and cosmetics. If all things are equal, then why have such hypocritical rules? The pageant chaperones were also escorting these dolled-up girls around to visit with slobbering rich businessmen. It was pukey to watch, as a relative of one of the contestants.

And can anyone take Shanna Moakler seriously about her quitting because of the degradation of the "values" the pageant is suppose to uphold... when a few years ago, she was naked and shining her goodies to the camera?

I speak up about it, because of the aftermath of these pageants. A perfectly lovely young woman has been thoroughly trashed because creepizoid Perez Hilton got his panties twisted. Pageants need to go the way of the dinosaur.

If no one watched, there would be no pageants.

Apparently a large group of "twisted" folk watch the "creepy" shows.

'Course lots watch "professional" wrestling, too.

What does THAT say for the general viewing public of the USA?

Well, you've certainly wasted a lot of effort commenting on this one.

For all you know, she's a boozy tramp when she's not in the limelight.

But that's just it... It's hard for them to find a network that will host the pageants anymore. People aren't watching... until the fur starts flying afterwards. Maybe that's the only way they can get any publicity.

I, for one, recall many lovely evenings spent with boozy tramps.

Hey, all they'd have to do is get someone like Kathy Griffin to MC the thing.

There would be enough publicity to keep Trump in hair spray for a couple of years, at least.

Hell, I'd like her better as a boozy tramp than a shallow bimbo.
