When people fear the government, that is called tyranny
When the government fears its people, that is called liberty

Here's a clue: this is an opinion forum and you obviously have none.  If we want to read crap, we can go to WND ourselves.

Have you ever noticed that she drops these smelly little piles on here and never sticks around to suffer the stench.

From the WND pile ... "It's named the "Melanie Blocker Stokes Mother's Act" after a pharmaceutical sales manager who killed herself by jumping out of a window after receiving four cocktails of antidepressants, anti-anxiety and antipsychotic drugs and electroshock therapy following the birth of her child."

A different viewpoint from the NIH..."On February 23, 2001, Melanie Blocker-Stokes, a Chicago, IL, native and successful pharmaceutical sales manager, wife, and mother, gave birth to a daughter. After the birth of her daughter, Mrs. Blocker-Stokes developed a devastating mood disorder known as postpartum psychosis. She was admitted to Chicago-area hospitals three times, each time for 7 to 10 days. Despite medical assistance and the support of her family and friends, Mrs. Blocker-Stokes lost her battle with postpartum psychosis and jumped from a 12-story window ledge to her death on June 11, 2001."

This is nothing new. I remember my wife and I being counseled about this before the birth of our first more than 30 years ago.

Knowing what is causing the depression and knowing that there is help is comforting to a new mother.

Oh...btw... in case anyone is interested, here is a link to the bill....

Notice this ...
"                  focus on--

                        (i) raising awareness about screening;

                        (ii) educating new mothers and their families about postpartum conditions to promote earlier diagnosis and treatment; and

                        (iii) ensuring that such education includes complete information concerning postpartum conditions, including its symptoms, methods of coping with the illness, and treatment resources.

Especially if you skip around in a pink ballet tutu while you eat it. The only known antidote is T-bone steak, rare.

It gets worse...there's this cute girl at work who used to date him and he told her that too!  They didn't date much longer after that...go figure.
