Henry, have you ever read any of Adam Hamilton's work? I am taking an enrichment class based on one of his books and I thought of you when I started reading it.

I think he is very interesting. This is the third class I have taken based on one of his books. The first one gave a brief overview of the major world religions with interviews with leaders of each religions. The second traced the lineage of the major christian religions and their differences with emphasis on Methodists (this included an interesting discussion on homosexuality). The one I am taking now is about the last 24 hours of Jesus' life and how it changed the world. There are videos to go with each book but I don't know how available they are.

Guys,

I have found some distrubing news regarding my wifes health.  More tests are being done, but I sure could use all the prayers and positive thoughts that I can muster up.  I may not be "playing" much with you over politics for the next few days.  Right now, that seem pretty trivial.

By the way, tomorrow is an important day, my wife will undergo a procedure to further analyze a problem, to see WHAT is going on.

So, I am sharing this with you, because I am truly worried and can use all of the prayers and thoughts that I can muster up.

I'm still not up to the daily political exchange, though this IS a particulary impressive day for America.
