Men soooooo crack me up.   You think we can't tell a stock message when we see one? This one is from Book of Matches this morning:

QuoteHow are you doing? Impressing is what i describe your captivating profile as a near perfect description of what i desire in a woman ,even your picture goes a long way in describing the quintessential underlying beauty any man would seek for in a woman ...i think i like you..now..i know i like you but all that don't matter as all real love relationships begin on a basic foundation of friendship...i would like to know u better and be good friends with u and am sure something deeper will spring from there...

Dave...
Looks like I've come full circle.

Gee, you mean you weren't impressed and falling all over yourself to meet this dude?   ;D

LOL, you know...only one guy has ever impressed me. I mean REALLY impressed me and he's the one I will probably never meet.  That's Aaron.   I messaged him first....but only because I kept noticing he was viewing my profile and not messaging me. He replied with something just as superficial.  Then immediately replied again apologizing and telling me that it wasn't meant to be as superficial as it sounded.  Here it is 16 months later, and we are still chatting.  As a matter of fact, he sent me a message at 2:45 this morning, just to update me on something that is going on in his life.  He's a cool cat and if he wasn't 1.) so much younger (already done that) 2.) constantly going back to that woman that cheats on him (it's off again right now) 3.) so far away.  I'd be all over him in a heartbeat.   But as it stands, he makes a great online friend.

Dangit, why does he:

always message me when I'm in bed asleep?

And he is STILL doing it!! LOL

I was floored the other night.  Apparently he talks about me, and what he had to say to one of his best friends, who then relayed it to my sister, and then told me......has really put me in a state of confusion.   Let's just say, he seems to think much more of me than a friend.  I had no clue!!!

Sounds like a game of telephone!
Something witty and relevant.

pariann

I was thinking the same thing!!! LOL  Except we weren't using telephones.

Uh, neither does telephone.
Arguing with Christians is like playing chess with a pigeon.  No matter how good I am at chess, the pigeon is just going to knock over the pieces, shit on the board and strut around like it's victorious.

The truth is slow, but relentless. Over time it becomes irresistible.

Pari!  I read this one today.  I hate repeating my shelf too!

Hush....LOL....we are all in different states....so at one time, it would have had to be playing telephone, using telephones.  I know what I was saying.

Oh, and by the way, I reckon I'll do nothing about what I learned.  I've already had that interstate relationship, a couple of times, and it just isn't the same as someone being local.

If only I were that kind of woman my anniversary wouldn't arrive:
