Is your home ready for guests?

Excellant suggestions, Gryphon...and I'm proud to say that my prep list is pretty similar when we're expecting guests.

I try to think like a guest when I get the room ready -- and it's great entertaining in our new home because the guest room is downstairs, with it's own heating/cooling, plus private bathroom.

The most important thing I add to the toiletry basket, in addition to the soaps/shampoos/lotions/mouthwash, is a trial-sized bottle of Ibuprofen/Rolaids/Tums, etc.

There's nothing worse than being a guest in someone's home & not feeling up to par in the middle of your stay, or middle of the night.
