That's the kind of open minded, twisted, happy soul my tag name suggests...if you remember from the old forum.

ya know....though I do not agree with either of them on MOST issues......i like both of them on thier cander.... Paul has many good ideas, especially economicly..............and Kucinich, has very much passion on his beliefs, and I don't think he is drivin by polls like the Clintons....what you see is what you get........I think he has integrity, but he IS WAY out there on some of his issues...as far as I'm concerned....

but, it would not be the end of the world if they were to be elected...

I think this country is in REAL need of leadership...

This we agree on, because the country has been without for 8 years.

But that's what every Senator's job is - to vote. I can 'assume' he voted party-line. Woo Hoo - big deal! That doesn't mean he's qualified to be President. I think he should remain a Senator and pen a couiple of bills / laws so he can stand on those for the citizens to decide for or against - like McCain.

There's no need to "assume" his voting record when you can find it here: http://www.votesmart.org/index.htm

Oh I know. I just haven't had or taken the time to look into it Obama's voting record and that's why I said 'assume'. That way no one could jump on me for stating it like it was a fact and he voted with the republicans on an issue. I guess I was just CYA.

Okay, but wouldn't you want to know what his voting record is before you make an important decision such as who you want to support as a president? The voting record is an excellent measure between what he says and what he's done. That's really all we have for any of them.
