Locutus

Have you had to take a boat to work the last few days?

I've been fortunate enough to not need water wings on my commute.

However, they did have to evacuate my office on Monday because the streets were flooding.  I was glad my vehicle sits kind of high that day.

Locutus

That's good.

So nothing much around your home?

No.  I live on the second floor of an apartment building that is located in a higher section of town.  Actually, the city of Seattle didn't have as much trouble as some of the outlying areas.

I feel for the people driving back and forth between Seattle and Portland.  Having I-5 shut down means a 440 mile detour.

Locutus

440 miles?!?!?!?  Wow!  That's one hell of a detour.

At any rate, I'm glad you were minimally impacted by the weather.  I knew you were out there, so I thought I would inquire.
