What makes your house "home"? Is it being surrounded by things you love...people you love...or the memories it holds?
What are your best memories of "home?"

All of the above. But most important....We bought our house in 1975, three years before our first daughter was born. We made our family here.

Not sure Gryphon. I haven't been home for years. I still view WV as home.

I partially agree with the saying, "Home is where you make it" because I usually can't wait to "come home" after a vacation, trip, long work day, etc. as long as I can see my children, husband, & get tp sleep in my own bed!

But, on the other hand...maybe I didn't give it long enough, but I loved my hometown & have missed it since the day I moved away.

The comforts & familiarity of childhood memories...favorite eateries...natural supports & professional networks. That's also another sense of "home".
