Pardon the poor quality of this diagram, but I am attempting to educate pedestrians of the proper way to walk across a parking lot while traffic is yielding for you.

The example on the left shows the route a pedestrian who is courteous takes.  Straight across the aisle, blocking vehicular traffic for as little time as possible.

On the right we see a pedestrian who is an inconsiderate, self-centered, S.O.B.  They have chosen to blaze a trail diagonally across the entire goddamn aisle, holding up traffic trying to find a space.  To make matters worse, they typically take this route at the slowest possible pace, sometimes en masse.

Stop it!

Is this a problem in Seattle?
Life is a test,
Life is a trust.

I'm not sure about it being a problem in Seattle, but I encountered twice in our parking lot at work yesterday.
