Put partistism aside...who did you think was the best leader of this country....

I got to go with Ronald Reagan...

He took over during a time of turmoil and inflation was through the roof, along with unemployment...he turned every thing around, and American Pride was restored...he was a real father figure of this country, to me....

This not intended for arguemnts, lets jut post why YOU like a particular President and lets be nice about it....

Reagan, because he was the first one I was ever aware of (born in Carter administration; don't remember him at all).

Clinton was cool because, well, he just was. My ex would probably have a stroke if he knew I'd thought that all those years we dated while Clinton was in office. LOL!

Definitely Richard Nixon for me.  Why? Because!

He did have a good plan.  Not his fault his henchmen were extras from an Abbot and Costello movie.

My husband's favorite. He has read The Rise and Fall of Theodore Roosevelt (at least I think that's what its called) and Theordore Rex. He loves them. He got to go to Oyster Bay a couple years ago and tour Roosevelt's home. I was a little jealous. I'm a sucker for tours.
