FBI Arrests 6 In Alleged Terror Plot Against N.J. Soldiers

Six men from New Jersey have been arrested in an alleged terror plot against soldiers at Fort Dix, according to law enforcement sources.

Investigators said the men planned to use automatic rifles to enter Fort Dix and kill as many soldiers as they could at the New Jersey military base. Fort Dix was just one of several military and security locations allegedly scouted by this group, authorities said.

I saw this story this morning. That's insane. Fort Dix is a training facility w/the focus of the GWOT, so I'm guessing that was the attraction. Still, right down the road, they have Fort Monmouth, the electronics and communications command and when I saw the headline, I was certain that is the post that would have been targeted.

Thankfully, they were caught.

I do believe that would be whether it is before the fact or after the fact.  In this case they were caught before they did anything.  If they had succeeded that would have been an entirely different matter and would have ceased to be just a law enforcement issue.

Would it really do any good?  If you don't understand now I have a feeling it could be explained until the person who is doing the explaining is blue in the face and it wouldn't do any good.  If you promise to really listen I'll try to overcome my inability to put my thoughts into words and explain it to you.

I'll honestly have to give this some thought as to how to word it.  I'm not stalling I'm just that poor at putting my thoughts into words and a lot of times, although I know what I mean, it comes out all wrong and gets misunderstood.
