The following, from today's Washington Post,  makes me so mad.  Instead of trying to pay back a little to the state that put her husband in the Senate, she finds a way to use her job to help make their crook of a daughter even richer.

"West Virginia Democratic Sen. Joe Manchin's wife, Gayle, used her post on the National Association of State Boards of Education to push sales of EpiPens, benefiting her daughter (the CEO of the company that makes the product). From USA Today: The association's move helped pave the way for Mylan Specialty, maker of EpiPens,  to develop a near monopoly in school nurses' offices. Eleven states drafted laws requiring epinephrine auto-injection. Nearly every other state recommended schools stock them after what the White House called the "EpiPen Law' in 2013 gave funding preference to those that did."
Cashing in: "Over the past eight years, the price of EpiPens has risen 461 percent while the senator's daughter) Heather Bresch's salary as chief executive has gone up 671 percent ... In 2015 Bresch made $28.9 million in salary." (Chris Cillizza)

:spooked: That is unreal. A friend of mine found an alternative which costs her $4 but I forget what it was. She had the Dr. start writing her scrips for them instead.
