The wife and I loaded up on the 'wing and took a little tour of Missouri and northern Arkansas.  We did 1473 miles over 4 days, which was a lot, but we only has so much time.  The lovely state of Missouri was nice enough, but the southern part was by far the best.  Northern Arkansas treated us to some great riding in the Ozarks.  It was nice to get away on two wheels for a few days.

The bike did well, as did the new Metzler tires.  We hit a little light rain going out, and a pretty good rain about the last 15 miles from home on the way back.  For the first time in 50K + miles, the bike felt stable in the rain.  No unexpected slips or slides on tar strips, lines, or anything else, just smooth sailing.

That's a great picture!  Beautiful surroundings.
One of the gravest dangers to the survival of our republic is an ignorant electorate routinely feeding at the trough of propaganda.   -- Locutus
