Harvard / MIT - Jesus Had A Wife

A scrap of papyrus analyzed by the labs at both Harvard and MIT, have concluded that the material and the writing it contains came from the time period 659-859 CE. They examined the material, ink, and grammar used in creating the fragment and deemed it historically accurate; however the real controversy surrounds the text it contains.

The phrases, " Jesus said to them, 'My wife ..." and "she will be able to be my disciple."

Of course the zealots have already deemed it a fake, forgery, blah, blah, blah.

Combine this with the discoveries contained within the Lost Tomb of Jesus, and one begins to see the skullduggery being imposed upon the masses by Xtians over the millenniums since the days when Jeebus walked this earth. . .

I have been in couple classes/discussion groups that have talked about Jesus having a wife. I think the idea has been floating around forever.  I would not have a problem with incorporating it into my faith, but that is just me. One of Dan Brown's books (I think the DaVinci Code) was about that and yes I know it is fiction. Still a good read, imp.

Anne, If you have not read The Genesis Code, a novel of suspense, by John Case, try to find a copy and read it. It is not about Jesus having a wife, but follows the theme of who/what he was. It was so thought-provoking I gave a copy to a friend, a lawyer, who said he presented it for discussion in a Bible-study group in his church.

You're welcome.  Just talking about  it makes me want to read it again. The suspense builds to a totally unexpected  conclusion that will make you smile.
