Went mid morning with raincoat on and umbrella in hand. And so did a lot of others; more than I can remember -- ever.

My daughter and I went together to vote.  I have taken her to the polls ever since she was a baby (and before that!  ;) ).  When she was little I would let her push the buttons for who I wanted.  As she grew up we would discuss the issues and the candidates, which we still do. I was almost as excited as she was when she turned 18 and finally got to vote.

I took my kids and two of my grandchildren to vote, too. The last time we went they tried to tell me I couldn't take her in the voting booth with me. Took a few minutes to sort it out. I guess they thought the 4 year old would make me vote for her candidate.😊. There was a short line here, usually we don't have to wait. The ballot was longer than usual so it took us about 30 minutes total. All new and younger poll workers, too.
