It would appear that the fragmentation of the republican party is not just a rumor, but real. I submit the following as evidence of this fact on a local basis, as republican back-slappers of Mayor Smith now seek to stab him in the back over the reservoir and annexation initiatives. . .

I find it hilarious that once staunch supporters of the mayor are now among his largest critics.
