QuoteA married couple has sparked fury by setting up a website to let the public vote on whether or not they should have an abortion.

Pete and Alisha Arnold, both 30, say they launched a website because they are unsure if they want to be parents.

They believe the controversial poll so the public could 'make a difference in the real world'.

The couple, from Minneapolis, have uploaded regular scan images of the foetus, which is a perfectly-healthy boy they have nicknamed 'Wiggles'.

The subject matter is so provocative that some are questioning whether the site has been set up deliberately to upset anti-abortionists.

This is beyond stupid. Seriously. I can only assume this couple is seeking 15 minutes of fame at the expense of their unborn child. If she really is pregnant. Anyone can post a picture.

Based solely on the picture of the couple, I vote that they should abort.  :icon_twisted:
Arguing with Christians is like playing chess with a pigeon.  No matter how good I am at chess, the pigeon is just going to knock over the pieces, shit on the board and strut around like it's victorious.

The truth is slow, but relentless. Over time it becomes irresistible.

I'd vote for the abort strictly because of their stupid actions.

Plus, they're idiots for another reason.  With the number of anti-abortion Zealots out there (the killer of George Tiller coming to mind), they'll be lucky if they both don't end up with targets on their heads.

They're safe for the time being, though, since she's carrying a gift from the baby geebuz in her!

The prochoice camp might be pissed too. Choice is about the right to make a personal decision. I'm not sure that allowing random people on the internet to assist with the decision making process is considered that. The privacy factor is out the door.

Yup to this too.  It's like Y once said, "An unfortunate side effect of the Internet, is that it's given the dumbest among us a worldwide voice."
