The cop, was eastbound on Walnut and attempted to pass several cars when a Chevrolet Cavalier traveling north on U.S. 41 turned onto Walnut.

Witnesses said the Cavalier, driven by Jesse Harvey, 39, rounded the corner at a high rate of speed and struck the police car, which was in the center lane.

Harvey was cited for speeding to avoid an accident and driving with a suspended license.

Now, what isn't apparent from the news report, is that Walnut is four lanes wide, two eastbound and two westbound. There is no center lane. So the cop had to be in the westbound lane. Hwy. 41 is the major north-south artery. Hmmmm..... And why was the cop attempting to pass several cars in the middle of the city, without sirens and lights? Bun run? So important the fast lane on the eastbound side wasn't good enough?

I really hate cops.

I have read a lot about the police state.  I really think it's to late.  The judges and the lawyers have control of this country.  It get worse every year.  More killings by the cops and the cops get off Scott free.  I have tried to find out how many people are killed each year by the police and you can not find it.  They say it is not recorded.  Well it should be, I think many people would be surprised.

It's getting just like the dark ages.  The cops (Knights) are the enforcers for the judges (King) and the lawyers (Royalty).  you can see how their are taken care of.

I think that every area that is covered by cops, should have a civilian review board with the power to fire bad cops.
