Not a Republican/Democrat thing. How in hell can a person vote for Cummings

Rodney was never a good prosecutor, he was a bad prosecutor.

Have you read the THB newspaper.  Old Rodney had a conviction for murder turned over.  Why,  HE WITHHELD EVIDENCE THAT WOULD HAVE FOUND Walter DUDLEY, NOT GUILTY.  Also it could cost Madison County a Million dollars to try him again.

He also tried a father and mother for first degree murder for killing one of their many children.  Cummings tried them for murder for not taking their child to the doctor soon enough.  The family was so poor, they didn't have the money to take a kid to a doctor everytime a kid caught a cold and that what they thought he had.  He died of Spinal Meningitis.  They were found not guilty after the had spent a lot of time in jail because they couldn't make bond and their children were farmed out.

Good old Rodney is a convicted felon.  Oh, I'm sorry he was forgiven by the Governor.

While I was in the Army at Fort Knox, we had a solider die of Spinal Meningitis, the Army thought he had a cold to.  Guess what, they were not tried for murder.

This is one person who will not give good old Rodney Cummings a second chance.

What family was that? If it was the family who home schooled their kids, you should have gone to the trial. They were not poor, the husband worked at GM, they had been investigated by cps before this happened, the kid was sick for over a week, so sick he couldn't raise his head to take a drink, he was six and they fed him from a baby bottle for crying out loud. If it is that family, I didn't hear about the parents ever being in jail and the kids were never "farmed out." I can't remember their name now. CPS had investigated them because one of their older children who no longer lived at home was concerned about the health (eye problems) of one of the younger ones.

It's been to long for me to remember the name.  But I followed it every day in the THB newspaper.  All I know is what I read.  Never did I read that the father worked for Gm.  The newspaper seemed from what I could get out of it, that it was a miscarrage of justice.  I guess you can't believe anything written and only 1/2 of what you see.

Maybe your right.  But I do know that Spinal meningitis in a lot cases looks like a cold.  That's what happened to a solider who dies at Fort Knox.  He had been seen by the army doctor and returned to his company.  The entire company was quaranteed to the company area for a week of two after receiving shots.

But, for Cummings to with hold evidence to get a conviction is enough for me, alone.

I was at the trial every day and yes the newspaper leaft out some very important things, imo. I think the people's name was Plank, but I am not positive. The father worked at Guide and they had insurance. I thought they were charged with child endangerment, not murder but maybe there were multiple charges, it has been a long time ago. That is one of the problems with the newspaper, at least back then, they either weren't there all the time or they put a real slant on the coverage. Yes, spinal meningitis can look like a cold to start and the little boy might have died even if they had taken him to the doctor earlier, but they waited much too long, imo.

My husband doesn't like Mr. Cummings either, but mostly for the gambling raids that put so many people out of work right before he ran for prosecuter again. I sure did like Dolenskis.

Oh, I forgot about the gambling.  I sure think he went overboard.  Just what did he really accomplish.  Hardly nothing.  Like you said, he caused a lot of misery for really nothing.

I use to play those games and I could win once and awhile.  But, when I go out to Hoosier Park I don't and don't see anyone win any money.

One day while playing blackjack at one of the electronic blackjack table.  the damn thing dealt it's self, in 10 hands.  4 blackjacks, four 20s one, one 18 and one 17.  We all got up and left the table.  Do you really think the State of Indiiana would fix the tables.
