This in today's Courierpress:

http://www.courierpress.com/news/2010/apr/19/armed-robbery-puts-school-short-lockdown/

Now, if you read the story, the guy accosted a woman as she was entering her home and demanded cash. If you know E'ville, you know no one in that neighborhood ever has cash. And then they locked down Howard Roosa. What?? Why? The only reason my tired brain can come up with is that it was fairly close to school dismissal time, and the Powers That Be feared the assailant would grab a student to use as a hostage or shield. Again, if you know E'ville, you know that NOBODY messes with a Howard Roosa kid. The cops would have been better served by offering a reward for the guy's apprehension, and turning those kids loose early.
