2000-2010: A decade of (Climate) Change

One of the most remarkable, and alarming, environmental changes to occur over the last decade is the melting of Antarctic ice sheets and the recession of Arctic glaciers at speeds much faster than climate change models had predicted, according to environment experts. 

Studies suggest an ice-free Arctic could result not only in a stormier North Pole region, but could also affect weather patterns throughout the entire Northern Hemisphere.

The loss of ice would also be a death knell for polar bears, which rely on ice to hunt and raise their young. But it would also be a boon for business, including shipping and resource extraction.

Climate change has made itself apparent in other powerful ways over the past decade.

Just so we know, why don't all you who believe global warming is a "boonch of crrap", (in my best Scottish brogue), please let us know how you would prefer to be "done".

a) Medium well - a slight brazing of the dermis, but still juicy and pink inside.

b) Well done - a noticeable charring of the dermis, with no pinkness inside and only marginally juicy.

c) Extra Crispy - no dermis remaining, interior juices boiled away, and regions where the dermis has been burned through exposing the underlying bone structures.

The link in your post contains factual information and documentation from some of our nation's greatest institutions of learning, but I suspect it will be resoundingly dismissed by the peanut gallery. . .
