One thing "some" of us warned about, is that the powers that Bush and Dick wrongly added to the executive branch would really haunt us if the Democrats took over, because nobody does big brother like a hardcore leftie.

Still, Obama is unique. His childhood and background were one big screeching warning, had people actually done the research and paid attention.

Bringing in Timothy Geithner supposedly to straighten out the economy was a big red flag, too... Geithner's family goes back and ties to Obama's in a foreign land. Geithner basically was raised in foreign countries, and no doubt has an entirely different worldview... not to mention that Geithner was working in the background all along, as one of the instigators of the economy we were left with after the Bush administration was through with us.

I don't know what the American public was thinking, giving Obama a break on all of his own past transgressions and painting him as some sort of Messiah.

Not enough rasslin' and NASCAR to suit ya?
Arguing with Christians is like playing chess with a pigeon.  No matter how good I am at chess, the pigeon is just going to knock over the pieces, shit on the board and strut around like it's victorious.

The truth is slow, but relentless. Over time it becomes irresistible.
