What do you think of the new morning edition of the newspaper?

After all of these years, we now have a morning newspaper - if you consider 4 1/2 hours difference between an afternoon edition and a morning edition different. The newspaper has declared itself new and improved. I certainly could be wrong, but the information that the newspaper put out was that it was previously printed at 10:30 a.m. and now it will be printed at 6 a.m. That's the difference between afternoon and morning. If I'm wrong about this I'm certainly not the only one I know who saw the same thing.

Changing the appearance of a newspaper, in my opinion, does not make and improvement in it. They still have the same people working and I'd expect they still do the same jobs everyday. They still have the same editorial writers, and I assume they still write the same stuff.

I'm not opposed to looking on the back page of the first section for continuations of stories, but I really don't believe that the change can be qualified as new and improved. Just more of a hassle. Exchange one page for the other. I really thought just being able to turn to the second page was convenient.

I don't blame the newspaper for making changes. They've been needed for a long time, but I'm waiting for those changes.

The lighthouse on the front page is nice, but I doubt if people will flock to the the newsstands to get the paper to see it. just because it has an image of a lighthouse.

It does look differenet, and although I don't understand how 4 1/2 hours is going to do it any good, I'll be like everyone else and make my decision about whether it's improved from what I read in it in the future.

Just wondering, though. It was published at 10:30 a.m. in the past and I didn't get it until after 4 p.m. Just wonering if now that its printed at 6 a.m. I'll get it by noon. That, I am also waiting to see.

The jury is out.
I don't know for sure, but

prolo, i have to admit that i dont receive the paper. i read it online, so the new delivery time doesn't really matter to me. will it improve the paper? probably not. just the same stuff, earlier.

Prolo, I also don't receive the paper.  I continue to be unimpressed and even embarrassed with their "articles".

I'm just curious, is your paper owned by CNHI?  Because you sound as impressed with your paper, as we are with ours in Anderson.
Looks like I've come full circle.

Yes, our newspaper is owned by CNHI. We also are blessed? with a printing facility in our industrial park that prints several newspapers - maybe even Anderson - know for sure Kokomo's is printed here and several other smaller papers...and they also probably print a bunch of other stuff we don't know about.
I don't know for sure, but
