The budget impasse has sparked a furor over office furniture.

State Controller John Chiang is handing out IOUs because the state is our of money, but his office recently spent $2 million on redecorating.

Personally, I couldn't careless about the little bit of tax money I'd be due back (if any), but what ticks me off is that people are being furloughed because California can't afford to pay them.  :mad:
