Police seek tips in stolen check-cashing

ANDERSON — The Madison County Sheriff's Department seeks the public's help in identifying persons of interest in the cashing of stolen checks. Sheriff Ron Richardson said the checks were reported stolen in late December 2008 and detectives have confirmed that they were cashed at various businesses in Delaware, Grant, Hancock and Madison counties. Investigators are trying to determine if two men are involved in the crime, or if a single suspect is altering his appearance. Click on the surveillance photos at left to view them full size.
