his POW experience is pretty well documented.  he wasn't alone.  and he WAS considered a somewhat arrogant a-hole in the military before he was captured.  my dad knew him AFTER vietnam, and he thought he was a very humble, pleasant guy.

btw, i don' see how you can try to diminish WHATEVER his POW experience was.  torture, tiger cage, whatever.  just go live in a room for 5 years with no news of the things that you love, the people you love and the life that you know.  that's not suffering enough for you?  that's a ridiculous road to go down.

she is a liar...

Isn't that just belaboring the obvious, Henry?  Of course she is, she's a politician.

Now seeing as you're a conservative reactionary, shall we talk about McCain?

Law of Logical Argument - Anything is possible if you don't know what you are talking about.  ;)

"You've probably noticed that opinion pollsters go out of their way to include as many morons as possible in surveys ... I think it's dangerous to inform morons about what their fellow morons are thinking. It only reinforces their opinions. And the one thing worse than a moron with an opinion is lots of them." -- Scott Adams

In other words: Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.  ;)

"It is difficult to get a man to understand something when his salary depends upon his not understanding it." -- Upton Sinclair

"Hitler is gone, but if the majority of our fellow citizens are more susceptible to the slogans of fear and race hatred than to those of peaceful accommodation and mutual respect among human beings, our political liberties remain at the mercy of any eloquent and unscrupulous demagogue." -- S. I. Hayakawa

Care to elaborate on that? So far the only skeletons that have been brought up are contrived ones that have been disproved as BS.

Do you honestly think that IF he had any "REAL" skeletons in his closet.........that they would NOT have surfaced by now?....
